9 months and 6 days to ORD :) time really flies in a blinkered of an eye. I still remember the numerous times I dragged my feet to Pasir Ris ferry terminal to take the ferry to Tekong. Life as a recruit was as boring as it can be .No sense of freedom for a total of 9 weeks was insane as I am definitely not the type that like to be ordered around. Fortunately, i was in an ultra slack company - Scorpion. Best of all, there were quite a few good looking girls in my company to look at. This eventually helped me to get through the gruesome 9 weeks in tat shithole island.

After POP, i was posted to ScS for BSLC. Yet again, God shone his lucky torch on me as I was posted to the slackiest company - KILO. To top it up, my company under the new training system only had 2 (2 days 1 night) field camps compared to others. I still managed to pass out despite not taking part in 2 key events - section life firing and 28 km route march. This is due to the fact that the main criteria was only IPPT, which as usual, i aced it without any sort of struggle. Gosh- Life was rather great as compared to BMT.

Life is never ever going to be a bed of roses. Guess what, I was right. I was posted to ASLC after BSLC. Being in infantry was never ever going to be on my wishlist as i cannot stand being in the wilderness -feeding mosquitoes. In addition to that, I cannot tolerate the cleaning of my rifle everyday. Such annoying chores definitely exacerbated my quality of life as a trainee. In order to ameliorate it, I managed to get myself out of the course via a few 'brillant' moves. Loopholes of SAF can be exploited to your advantage easily.

From then on, my quality of life reached new heights as I was attached to CMPB- army recruitment centre. Experiencing working life was refreshing for me as I never thought it will ever happen in my 1 year 10 months stint in SAF. I was given the opportunity to take charge of Joint poly - ITE sponsorship. Many things(- processing applications, interviews, preparing contracts, and phone calling ) to learn from my upperstudy who is a DXO. It was nvr easy but my superb learning ability never fails to amaze me. What i like about this is that they are different from combat unit. My superiors did not like to play rank and all of them treat me as their working colleague.

As it was only a 2 months attachment, it came to an end eventually and, I was posted to my last destination- Infantry training institute.

I was posted there as a training specialist which my job scope now is to prepare training programmes n training areas for my unit reservist personnels. 8 - 530 everyday. I have plenty of time to do the things i want. Thank god :) i have a great superior who likes to give off whenever i ask him. In return, I always try to help him and do not need him to pester me about my job. Met numerous fun-loving people out there to kill time in ITI.
Hopefully, my unit wont eventually make us stay in.

All in all, Ns life has been roller-coaster ride and, i learnt many essential things which will allow me to succeed in the working world. Hopefully, i can find a job after i ORDed and, continue playing floorball.
